C4C: No Apology No Endorsement
Realizing that defeat is now starring them in the face, recognizing that Sam Sumana has duped them of at least $250,000, noticing that the vast majority of the people of Kono District will vote for SLPP and Maada Bio, APC has resolved to rain untold violence on the people of Kono so that the run-off elections will be impractical or have it cancelled. This plan was hatched by Logus Koroma, Diana Konomanyi, Karamoh Kabba and David Tam-Bayoh to name a few of the conspirators. Sam Sumana even though has received $250,000 from the APC, asked the APC to publicly accept that they were wrong for treating him so badly. He also asked them to publicly apologize for the humiliation of him and his supporters including the Late Kainde Bangura. In fact Sam Sumana insisted that the APC should visit the children of Madam Bangura and make a public apology. The APC failed to do this. Instead they read a letter asking Sam Sumana to come back to APC. There were no apologies. As a result Sam Sumana will not endorse APC.
Kahinde Bangura: Her Ghost has visited APC
The first stage of the plan was executed last night when members of C4C and SLPP were on air in Kono campaigning to the people to vote for change. The APC could not stomach the power of the message and they decided to attack the radio station so as to end the broadcast. Reports reaching this press suggest that the attackers were repelled by the people in the neighborhood who said they were tired of APC violence in their city. That did not deter the APC thugs led by Karamoh Kabba to attack the SLPP office with the intention of burning it down. Karamoh Kabbah it is alleged was in a white Toyota Land Cruiser with no number plates to avoid identification. The land cruiser attempted to drive into the security guards at the SLPP office to scare them away so that the office can be set on fire. The security guards stood their ground and repelled the attack. Youth in the neighborhood of the SLPP office organized themselves into neighborhood security groups to repel any further APC attacks. The police it is reported failed to even show up at the scene after numerous calls from the neighbors in the area.
The APC plans to further their nefarious plans of disrupting the Kono elections so that NEC would have no option but to cancel the elections on security grounds. Former President Koroma is reported to have said that if APC cannot win Kono then they should go all out to have their votes nullified. Locals of Kono district interviewed by this press expressed their anger and determination to vote APC out of power. On Mr. Gekia said no matter what APC does to the Kono people in terms of violence and intimidation, they will show them that they are not fools and will vote for SLPP this time around.
