Sam Sumana: It is all about money

Persistent news making rounds in the social media suggest that Sam Sumana and some C4C executive members in Freetown have received a deposit of money they were promised by former President Koroma. Some of the executive members are driving new Prados and Landcruisers in Freetown with word f=going around that they received it from a Chinese business man on behalf of formerr President Koroma. As such Sam Sumana and a few executive members are planning on declarinng for Dr Samura Kamara the beleaguered hand picked candidate of the APC.

This news has met with stiff resistance from the people of Kono who have overwhelmingly endorsed Maada Bio and the SLPP. The people of Kono have told Sam Sumana in no uncertain terms that they will never vote for APC and that Kono is not for sale. Mayor Lamina who it could be remembered was unlawfully deposed by the APC is the leader of the home based Kono group and some of the members of the group including the Public Relations Officer was on radio the other day declaring there support and endorsement for Maada Bio. The Seccretary General of C4C Mr. Sahr Nyama also openly declared for Maada Bio and the SLPP. So it seems those who are rumored that they will be declaring for APC are non-Kono people who have been bribed.

The Kono people have sent a stern warning to Sam Sumana. They  informed him that they are not stopping him from going back to APC but he should just realize that he will be on his own and that they will abandon him as they did David Tam-Bayoh.  One District executive told this press that they will show Sam Sumana that Kono is not for sale and that he (Sam Sumana) can sell himself all he wants but the Kono people will vote fo SLPP come March 31. In another development, the executive of the C4C Diaspora have threatened Sam Sumana with expulsion if he declares for the APC.
